Metro PuTTY implements the SSH protocol and is able to connect to remote servers. Connections are only made after the request of the user to the specified host and TCP port number and a connection will send needed user data to create the connection such as the username. Entered settings may be saved locally if the user chooses so and will sync across devices through Microsoft's roaming settings functionality. The software sends no data to the author or any other third party. There is no warranty provided with this software.
